If you have to go to trial, your defence team need access to information that could provide evidence of your innocence. This process is called disclosure. Liam Allan was famously saved by an 11th hour disclosure of vital evidence that saved him from conviction. It is vital to secure all the evidence you can that can help your defence. You need to play an active part by telling your defence team where they might find evidence to support your case.
