Facing Allegations in Contexts of Trust

Supporting Victims of Unfounded Allegations of Abuse

Donate to FACT

Why should I make a donation to FACT?

FACT is developing in many positive ways and the committee is working hard to continue moving forward offering help to those in need. Apart from one paid person who deals with the General Enquiries phone line, administration, organising events and more, FACT is run by volunteers and our only income is from donations and membership fees.

None of this is possible without the kind and generous support from those who make financial donations to us. Some members add an extra sum to their annual membership fee and others make one off donations so we’d like to give a very very big thank you to everyone who is making donations to FACT.
If you would like to support our work, please use one of the methods of payment listed below.

We really value your membership and any donations you make and we hope you will continue supporting this good cause for many years to come. Should you have any questions please contact us by email: coordinator@factuk.org

Many thanks.

How can I make a donation &/or pay my membership fee to FACT?

1. BACS

It’s so easy these to make direct transactions via a bank app on your phone, you may prefer to donate that way.

The information you need to out into your app is as follows, using your name as reference:

Payee:  Facing Allegations in Contexts of Trust
Account no.:  00033985
Sort Code:   40-52-40

You can also use your bank app or contact your bank to set up a Standing Order.

2. Paypal

The easiest way to make a donation, either as a one-off gift or on a regular monthly basis, is by using the PayPal button at the top of this page.  Even if you don’t have a PayPal account, as long as you have a debit or credit card, you can make a donation.

3. Cheque

If you prefer the ‘old way’, you can, of course, still send us a cheque.

Please make it payable to FACT and send to:

FACT
Piccadilly Business Centre
Unit C Aldow Enterprise Park

4. Charities Aid Foundation

You can also give to FACT using the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF). We are registered with CAF who can receive donations on our behalf and transfer them to us.

CAF are dedicated to making giving count to transform lives and communities. For those wishing to make a donation to FACT either as an individual or company/organisation it can be done through CAF. Should you wish us not to know or hold in our records the donors name CAF will withhold this from us. In their own words “We make it easier to give when and how you want, in complete confidence. Our independent insight and advice helps your money go further”.

5. Donate by shopping! - Easyfundraising

By signing up to Easyfundraising.org.uk, you can raise money for FACT, just by shopping online at one of the huge number of brands and retailers that are linked to it – you can see a list on the website or phone app. It doesn’t cost you anything, but a small percentage of your purchases go to FACT,  a WIN-WIN!
Just remember to use it when you shop online!

You can also add an extension to your browser when using a desktop or laptop computer, which can remind you and keep a record of how much you’ve donated.

You can also scan the QR code opposite with your phone, and sign up from there.

In-store shopping - now available!

Easyfundraising has now added in-store shopping. It’s easy – just add you normal shopping credit or debit card to the Easyfundraising app on your phone and, whenever you shop at participating stores – including Tesco and John Lewis – and pay with your card, FACT will get a donation from the store.

Please consider doing this – If all FACT supporters who shop at Tesco, did this with their weekly shop, it could go a long way towards keeping us going.

6. Contactless

We an also take payments/donations by Card and Apple Pay and all contactless cards at events and Conferences.

7. SMS etc.

Payment by SMS and other media

We can now take remote Payments over SMS or other media. Simply email coordinator@factuk.org or use the form on the Contact page and we will contact you with details
