Jackonsonville child and families services have power to fine people for false allegations [USA].

By First Coast News StaffJACKSONVILLE, FL — The Department of Children and Families appears to have renewed its efforts to crack down on child abuse on the First Coast. After going months without giving out any fines for false allegations, First Coast News has learned the DCF has levied 10 warnings and given a $250 fine this week alone. A state-wide workgroup met on the First Coast yesterday to try to design a new process to deal with false reports.
