THE MONTH of October was unfortunate for the man whose courtroom is nicknamed Jurassic Park. Four of Judge David Owen’s trials were the subject of successful appeals — two on the same day — and much of the blame was levelled at him. It was another black mark against the 70-year-old former Territorial Army major, who today can be named as the judge with more appeals upheld against his cases than any other over the past seven years…
