THE widow of a headmaster found hanged after being accused of sexually assaulting a pupil called yesterday for a new anonymity law. Gail Wilbee said people accused of sex crimes should get the same protection as their accusers. She added: “Teachers in particular need further safeguards to protect them. They should have rights equal to those of the child. A key move in this direction would be to grant anonymity until proved guilty.”
