Can you tell me if the Crown Prosecution Service will be given access to my accusers records...
The Crown Prosecution Service have developed a model protocol in consultation with Association of Chief Police Officers, Local Government Association of England, and Association of Directors of Social Services, on the exchange of information in the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases. It is endorsed by the Home Office, the Department for Education and Skills, and the National Assembly for Wales.
This model protocol provides a framework within which the Crown Prosecution Service, the police and local authority social services and education departments can co-operate to share information in child protection investigations for the purpose of criminal prosecutions. The protocol has been drafted to be in accordance with domestic and European law.
